Hosts and event programs

A rehearsal, welcome dinner or farewell brunch can have its own hosts and program. Open the event’s invitation list, then choose Hosts & event program. This workspace editor is available to current full business operators of the wedding’s owning business.

Add a welcome note, named hosts and dated moments. Give each moment a local start time, duration, location, host and guest instructions. Use the gathering’s timezone, including when its date differs from the wedding. Invalid local times during a daylight-saving clock change are rejected when saving.

Draft, review and publish

Save draft keeps changes private. Review the guest preview, confirm it, then Publish guest program. Only households with a current invitation to that event see its program in their private invitation and Guest Hub. Publishing does not grant admission to another event or send a guest announcement automatically.

For example, add a 5:00 p.m. rehearsal on the orchard lawn with Taylor hosting, followed by a 6:00 p.m. dinner inside. Guests invited only to the wedding reception cannot see this rehearsal program. Private coordinator notes, such as an unresolved vendor balance, are excluded from both the guest program and its print copy.

Changing the event’s main date, venue, dress code or details hides an older publication until you review and publish against the changed event. Editing a quiet draft keeps the previous published program visible. Hide guest program ends its visibility while preserving revision history.

Recovery and printing

A save or publication requires the current program and event revisions. If another operator changes them, reload and review their work. If the network loses a confirmation, Retry the same request recovers the original action instead of applying it again.

Retained revisions restore as a new draft. Review and publish that draft separately. The editor shows the most recent 30 revisions; retained earlier versions remain in business history. Up to 30 hosts and 200 moments are supported per event.

Print the guest program prints the currently previewed program, including unsaved draft edits, and excludes the private notes and editor controls. Confirm that this is the version you intend to distribute.

The event program complements the main wedding timeline. Use the coordination timeline for dependency shifts, participant notifications, acknowledgments and live execution; use this event program for the invited guests’ practical schedule.
