Set up your vendor business
A vendor workspace keeps your clients, pricing, forms and working calendar private. Its home brings together your existing inquiries, appointments, projects and recorded cash. Shared weddings appear only after an explicit invitation; joining one does not share your CRM or business finances.
Choose the work you do
Open Vendor home → Review specialty setup. Choose one or more specialties and a primary specialty for your business. Changing this profile does not delete or replace existing work. You can skip setup and return later. A venue, florist, caterer or DJ signup link carries that specialty into the setup page; it does not install anything without your review.
Six original starting points are available: venue, florist, caterer, DJ and entertainment, rentals, and other services. Each has its own inquiry questions, planning questionnaire, service scope and checklist. These are editable starting points; review them for your actual business before use.
Review the exact drafts
Select the parts you want, then choose Preview selected drafts. Expand each item to read its actual questions, workflow steps, checklist and service description. Dependent components are selected together so the workflow refers to the questionnaire in your own workspace.
A complete preset adds:
- A private project type with specialty fields.
- An unpublished inquiry form and an unpublished planning questionnaire.
- A disabled manual workflow: review the inquiry, prepare a questionnaire request, wait for your approval, and prepare an email draft.
- A task checklist in your private template library.
- An unpriced service package draft.
- A disabled consultation type with setup and cleanup buffers.
After approving the reviewed list, Install reviewed drafts creates those private drafts once. Installation does not create clients, weddings, live tasks, stock, staff assignments, public forms, appointments, signed documents or invoices. It does not send messages or charge anyone.
Make the drafts yours
Follow an installed item's link to its existing editor. Set your own prices and terms before using a package. Publish the questionnaire deliberately before publishing a workflow that refers to it. Review and simulate the workflow before enabling it; its preset starts manually and prepares an email draft for review.
The task checklist is in Saved templates. Choose a real project and explicitly import the checklist when it is appropriate. Use Adapt this template to edit a copy, then Review workspace import to save that exact version or apply it to a project. Earlier saved copies remain retained. Appointment types stay disabled until you configure your business availability and deliberately open them. Presets do not allocate rooms, equipment or people, and do not replace your existing scheduling requirements.
Existing edits and interrupted requests
Reinstalling the same preset version keeps its existing outputs. The review marks edited drafts as Customized and deleted drafts as Missing. It does not overwrite a price, republish a form or recreate deleted work. A new dependent draft cannot be installed when its required source was removed. An unrelated project type with the same name is a conflict to resolve deliberately, not a record that setup silently adopts.
If the response is interrupted, keep the page open and choose Check original installation. The same request and frozen choices recover the retained result without creating duplicate drafts. If your profile or reviewed output changed before installation, review the current state again. A new catalog version requires a new review; it does not upgrade existing customized content automatically.
Who can use setup
Workspace owners and administrators can change specialties and install presets. Staff with full business access can view the home and installed work; limited collaborators cannot enter these private business views. Every installation records its actor, source version, reviewed choices and output identifiers.
The home uses the same authoritative cash and invoice balances as your finance area. An unpriced package is not revenue, and remaining issued invoice principal is shown separately from collected cash. External email, calendar, payment and other provider setup remains part of the coordinated launch activation. Installing a preset never activates a provider.
Publish your professional profile deliberately
Open Vendors → Public profile, recommendations and introductions. A professional workspace owner or administrator can prepare the business name, specialty, service region, description, website and optional public email. Publishing opts this business into the network. Profile addresses stay stable. This is a profile managed by the business’s authenticated administrators, not independent identity, license or professional certification. Your private directory, ratings, client records and prices are not published. Public browsing stays closed until the coordinated network activation.
Build a preferred team by selecting other businesses that already publish their own profiles. Add your own introduction and share the list’s private URL. Withdrawing the list disables that URL. A business that withdraws its profile disappears from existing lists without revealing an older private contact record. The directory you already maintain continues to show its booked wedding history and private ratings separately.
Receive an introduction without losing its source
A visitor explicitly authorizes sharing their request with the selected business. The submission enters that business’s private network inbox; its typed email is still unverified. Review duplicate inquiries, then create a new inquiry, attach the request to an existing active inquiry, or dismiss it. Creating an inquiry can start already configured inquiry automations; attaching records a private conversation note and does not overwrite existing contact details. The saved introduction retains its original referring list.
The recommending business sees attributed request counts. It sees the visitor’s name and email only when the visitor explicitly agreed to share those details with the referrer. A request is not a confirmed booking, collected revenue or a payable referral commission.
Share ratings with permission and moderation
Choose your private vendor record and explicitly identify the matching opt-in profile. Write the specific public experience and choose the rating to publish; private notes and private ratings are not copied automatically. Reviews await a configured moderator. A booked-project label reports that the reviewer recorded a booking with this vendor; it is not independent verification of the review’s factual claims.
A receiving business owner or administrator can write a reply. Replies also require moderation before appearing publicly. The author can withdraw publication permission. A public report immediately hides the review pending another moderation decision. The moderation console retains the reason, exact reviewed revision, reports and decision; it requires an explicitly configured moderator account and cannot override an author’s withdrawal.
Display a photographer’s work with their credit
The photographer opens a gallery’s Client & vendor photo deliveries, selects one exact current photograph and a published business profile, and grants explicit public usage and credit terms. The receiving business sees this permission in its network workspace and must accept those exact terms before the image appears on its profile.
Public display uses a short-lived authorized preview derivative, with the photographer’s required credit and optional website. It never exposes a private original. Either party can end public display. Gallery expiry, archive, hidden photographs and replacement also close image access. Previously issued storage URLs expire within one minute. Grants do not imply a license beyond their recorded terms.
Network activation requires VENDOR_NETWORK_PUBLIC_ENABLED, reviewed moderation accounts in NETWORK_MODERATOR_IDENTITY_IDS, published-content/report procedures and the normal database, identity and private-storage rehearsal. This code does not automatically send invitations or emails.
