WeddingWire: a practical wedding-software evaluation

What the official product material describes
A wedding vendor marketplace and consumer planning site whose public tools include a checklist, guest management, seating, budget and wedding websites. Official product source. This source was reviewed on September 29, 2026. The description is based on public material; we did not complete a signed-in customer acceptance test.
Put this scenario in the demo
A couple shortlists suppliers and turns their selections into an organized working plan.
- Trace a supplier inquiry into the place where the actual booking is managed.
- Review guest, budget and seating exports for your handoff needs.
- Confirm who owns the latest timeline after a professional planner joins.
How to make the tradeoff
Separate the value of finding a supplier from the work of coordinating that supplier on the day. Compare each part using the same event and avoid assuming a listing or review establishes availability or a confirmed booking.
Use a scorecard with four evidence labels: demonstrated live, documented, requires configuration, and not yet verified. An unanswered question is not proof that a capability is absent. Ask for the plan, provider setup and permissions used in the demonstration.
Compare the complete cost and the exit path
Enter current quotes, usage allowances, extra users, storage and processing costs into the migration and cost worksheet. We do not reproduce a price here without checking the exact billing term and market. Preserve accepted documents, reconcile open balances and rehearse one representative record before moving active work.
Try a decision before opening an account
Use the timeline-change simulator, package-pricing worksheet or gallery-delivery checklist to define what you need to see. These public tools are available to test directly. They are not evidence that every provider-backed workflow in any product is already activated.
