Proposals and booking

Selectable proposals and accepted prices

Product documentation · Reviewed

Build a selectable proposal when clients need to compare collections, choose extras or set quantities. Open Selectable proposals → Build an offer, choose the private project and write the services, scope and terms. Fixed services always apply; choice groups define the minimum and maximum number of options. Each option has a fixed unit price and permitted quantity range and step.

For example, offer one eight-hour or ten-hour photography collection, then an optional parent album with one to four copies. A client can save a collection without accepting it, return through the same private invitation, and review the final price when ready. All selectors invited to the same offer share one saved choice set. A concurrent change requires a reload rather than overwriting another person's choices.

Save, review, publish and invite

Saving makes a private draft. Review the saved draft for publication, including its default choices, images, configured tax, discount and terms. Publication freezes a version; it does not silently change an already issued invitation. Creating an invitation for a newer published version explicitly supersedes earlier versions and starts fresh default choices. Earlier selections remain in history.

Create an expiring invitation for each recipient, then copy its private link yourself. The application does not automatically email these links. A view-only person cannot change choices, accept or decline. A selector can decide for the shared offer, so grant that permission deliberately. Acceptance closes choices for everyone. Recipient name and email confirmation are declarations by the link holder, not proof of email ownership.

A raw invitation link is shown only when created or replaced. If it was lost, replace the link with a reason; the earlier link becomes invalid. Revoke a leaked link immediately. An expired or revoked link cannot load the proposal or request new private image URLs. A storage URL issued just before revocation can remain usable for up to 60 seconds.

Price and acceptance

Clients send option identifiers and quantities. The server calculates unit prices, integer-cent discounts, the configured tax rate and installment allocations from the frozen published version. Incomplete choices can be saved but cannot be accepted. Unsupported quantities, a discount larger than the selected price, or too-small installments must be corrected. Configured tax is a business-provided rate, not automatic tax advice.

Before acceptance, the client reviews the exact total and schedule. Wedding-relative dates and the workspace timezone are frozen into that acceptance. If the wedding date or timezone changes during review, the client must preview again. Signing-relative dates remain rules until actual signing. Later project edits cannot reprice an accepted offer.

Acceptance records the chosen scope and price. It does not sign an agreement, authorize payment or reserve a wedding date. Declining closes the offer without billing or a refund.

Prepare one agreement

After acceptance, the owner can prepare the linked agreement. A booking journey instead prepares it from the owner-approved journey authority. Retrying this step returns the same agreement. Selected package descriptions, quantities, terms, total and schedule carry into that agreement. Configure and issue its signer invitations separately; the existing signing workflow creates installments only after the required signatures.

Accepted commercial terms cannot be edited through the older fixed-proposal or agreement editors. Use a separately reviewed offer for changed services or prices. The existing retained-document reissue process remains available for signing changes and preserves original billing and signed records. A proposal upgraded from a fixed draft cannot publish a second agreement through the old editor.

Images, permissions and recovery

Full workspace operators can manage these private offers. Client invitation access exposes only the proposal version, the shared choices and that recipient's details. It does not expose private project notes, other recipients' addresses or business finances.

Upload images through Documents and select ready private images in the editor. Published images are retained with their exact checksum and cannot be deleted through Documents while any published offer references them, even after invitations expire. Proposal image routes check the exact published manifest before producing a short-lived private URL. Generated local demo images are for browser rehearsal; actual storage setup remains part of launch activation.

If a response is interrupted, use Check original request. The retry preserves the original request identity and cannot silently accept a different price or prepare another agreement. When another person has changed the offer, reload and review its current state. The owner page shows the latest 50 saved selections and decisions; older immutable records remain retained. a recorded link open is only an access signal and is not evidence of acceptance or signature.

Offers currently use USD, up to 50 combined fixed services and options, 12 choice groups, 12 content sections, 12 installments and 12 gallery images plus a cover. Provider email and payment activation are not required to author, save, publish or accept a local offer; live storage, signing delivery and payment processing must still pass their own launch checks.
