Share a planning tool result safely
Product documentation · Reviewed
Every public planning tool can create a readable copy link. The recipient opens their own copy of the inputs and recalculates the result. Your later edits do not change their copy.
Review before copying
Choose Review a share link beneath the result, then open Inspect everything included. The link contains those inputs and the identifiers of any checked rows. It does not include your account, workspace or saved-draft identifier. Replace private names, email addresses, dietary information and business figures with examples before continuing.
Choose Create and copy this share link only when the visible information is appropriate to share. If clipboard access is unavailable, select and copy the displayed link manually. Very large plans require an exported JSON file instead.
Understand the copy
Inputs are encoded in the link's fragment, which follows the hash character. Encoding is not encryption. Anyone with the complete link can read the information, and you cannot revoke copies after sharing them. The tool removes the fragment from the address bar after opening it, but that does not remove the original link from a message or browser history elsewhere.
The recipient can edit, export or import their own copy. A shared planning preview does not publish a wedding timeline, send vendor messages or change a workspace record. Use the signed-in workspace's controlled access when the information needs ongoing permission management.
Try the timeline builder or review anonymous draft storage.
